Having spent a significant portion of my career in field research, I developed a deep appreciation for the scientific method and the importance of data-driven decision making. When I retired and decided to pursue my passion for farming and growing citrus, I naturally carried over these research practices into my new endeavor. I understood the value of conducting thorough research before making any major decisions, such as selecting the right citrus varieties for my farm or implementing regenerative farming practices. Before starting, I delved into scientific literature, consulted with agricultural experts, and attended conferences to discover the newly emerging science behind regenerative organic agriculture. With each major question, it was natural to put out plots and find the answer.  The journey is pure discover and exciting.
